The weekend before Halloween is always a special one for our community's children and for our Key Clubbers alike. This is when we hold our annual Trail of Treats event, where children can come and trick-or-treat in a safe environment. The Key Clubbers are all assigned a door to decorate in the front hallway of our school, and they drerss up in costumes to stay with the theme of their door. Each door then proceeds to pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters. Once the children travel down the hall and stop by each door, they reach the cafeteria, where they then can decorate pumpkins and have pizza to eat and fruit punch to drink. One of the other things that we all love about having Trail of Treats is that all of the profit goes towards UNICEF. This really is a fun time for the kids and for our Key Clubbers, who love to spend time socializing with the children.
