Conrad Weiser

Kyle Pagerly was a fallen officer of the K-9 unit of the Berks County Sheriff's Department. With his partner-in-justice, Jinx the German Shepard, Kyle participated in multiple community activities such as helping with the humane society, was a member of the U.S. Marshal Task Force, served in the U.S. Army in both Kosovo and Iraq, and was a Lieutenant for Township of Spring Fire Company.

To honor his memory and wishes, the first annual Kyle Pagerly 5K Memorial Run wa held on October 16, 2011 in Shillington Park. The 5K was originally designed by Deupty Kyle himself as a "21-Gun-Salute 5K" for the Berks County Honor Guard which honors fallen law enforcement officers. A few members of our Key Club collected over one hundred dollars from the community to register in the 5K run/walk to which all the proceeds were donated to the official Kyle Pagerly Memorial Fund.
